TW:suicide. Did you know that in 2019, suicide was the leading cause of death among Asians and Pacific Islanders ages 15-24? AB 1400 provides free mental health services to those who desperately need help but can’t access it. Plus AB1400 would relieve businesses of the burden of giving health coverage to employees. Under AB1400 everyone regardless of citizenship status, employment status, income, age etc would be eligible for coverage. Medicare for All fills in the gaps the ACA has.
